Getting this plant a few months ago was a great decision. Smells good too.
I first got this plant for my cats so they would stop chewing on the fake Ikea plants decorative sticks (seen in the background of another photo) that came with the apartment. I expected the cats to eat it and keep from getting too big. But they mostly just sniff and rub up against it.
You can see the difference here.
So it's grown and now it is leaning over chasing the sun. I rotate it every couple days so balances out, just growing so now. I do enjoy eating it too. I will walk over look out the window pluck a couple leaves and munch em. I suppose I need to make Mojitos more often.
It's always so thirsty. I give it lots of water daily or it starts droop over from dehydration, which is the not case for it leaning like that now.
Mint has a ton of health benefits. I do enjoy having an edible plant in my home to share with my cats, though I do wish they'd eat more of it.
