Sunday morning! It's early. The sun π tickles...
the window seals in my office. A golden shimmer of bliss. I love Sundays!
My morning routine.
A faithful prayer: Thank You Lord, for this day!
Then...
Step 1:
Cold water splashes π my face... Ahhh - refreshing. Water perling down my chin. Where is that towel? Oh - I washed it. Didn't replace... π Wet face...
My foggy mind starts to focus. I really want to get on Steemit right now and check what's happening in Steemit World. Steemit is Steemwizard-ry, you know. An amazing place of knowledge and creativity. I love it.
But first...
Morning routine Step 2:.
Be disciplined globo! The more I pace myself - the greater the reward later. Now, where was I? Oh yes....Step 2... Into the kitchen he goes!
Brewing a cuppa of Earl Grey - before I treat myself to a delicious mug French Coffee with a twist. Coffee Maker is ON! Good. You see, that cup of Earl Grey is good for ya tummy first thing in the morning. And it curbs my appetite. Better do something productive before enjoying a lovely Sunday morning breakkie. π Don't you think?
What's next?. Step 3... We're getting there...
Steemit? Noooo! Not yet! First, check personal messages, emails, SMS, chat. Does anything require my immediate attention just now?
No! Good. No emergencies. π Perfect!
On to Step 4:
Steemit stats check. No play before checking numbers. You see, I created a little spreadsheet. It records my progress in numbers. πΉ Like has my reputation increased? My standing in the community if you will. Where am I on the whale π³ ladder? These kind of things...
It's a handy tool π . Keeps me focussed. Organized. Motivated. I use it in the morning, and last thing before shutting down at night.
It's my goal to become financially π° independent - with Steemit - away from Fiat.
In order to rise through the ranks of Steemwizards, I recently decided to publish one quality, original and interesting post per day. Even with original graphics - but...
... between you and I, I am no Steemwiz when it comes to graphic design.
But with a little creativity and some basic knowledge, my posts become truly original, just by putting in the extra effort to put the essence of the story into a picture. It's easier then one may think, and with an itsy bitsy of practice - it doesn't take me an hour to put one together. Well, sometimes it still does... πΌ .
This one here was easy: And if I can do it, you can, too!
Anyway, here comes Step 5...
This one is all about Steemit house cleaning. Building a high-value followship. One that engages. One that upvotes, and that I find interesting enough to read and curate. I wrote about it here. It's Step 5 in detail if you're interested.
When I went to bed last night, I was asking myself: What am I going to write tomorow about, on a Sunday of all days? Now, I have a few ideas tucked away, ready to be researched and worked on. Some are already out - as a series.
Looong posts are worth the read but often difficult to tuck into. But a 3-part series of an interesting subject - would that not be even better? If Part-I was any good, the Parts that follow will have loyal Steemians who come across it not by accident - they're looking for it. More like a little book in chapters. But I digress...
Post ideas. I have many. Just not for Sundays. Could I not simply write something lighter without straining away from my Globocop brand? Something entertaining that would magically put a SMILE on someone's face? Like this chaotic and funny post by my friend ?
My tea has steemed away. The coffee is ready.... Ahhh - here it comes.
Next Step: DING! π‘
As I CURATE and check my beloved feed, suddenly, There. There it was! A funny looking post with a wiz-gal avatar just caught my eye.
It's from @Steemwizards. It made me smile π . Minnow support. You see, I am a minnow, too. And surely, I could use some help. It is the magic idea that I needed for my smily Sunday post. You're reading it just now. One could even get an extra $10 or $5 in addition to the Steem Dollars the post earns through upvotes. SteemWizard-ry. Don't you think?
As I finish this post I had so much fun π writing, I really hope you enjoyed reading it the same? It would make my day!
Now, onto my breakkie π³ ... You think I deserve it?
Would you let me know? And if this post put a smile on your face, would you resteem, and give it a thumbs up π , too?
Thanks for reading. π
