Today I got to treat a very deserving person to a nice meal thanks to Steemit!
My best friend and roommate Greg took me into his home when I had no options. I was in FL disabled without chance of medicaid and nobody could help me. I moved states and since I have been here Greg has helped when I am short on rent or can't buy food and even treated me to meals. So, now that I am doing better with Steemit I am trying to treat him more often. We went to our new favorite restaurant in St. Cloud. Sawatdee.
I love this place for many reasons. One is the that the waiters are SO nice. There is one who is pescatarian but knows all the vegan meals. Also, the food is TOP NOTCH and there are booths with walls and high backs that keep your dining experience private for me (social anxiety) it is really nice.
I captured some photos of our meal and the decorations.
Thank you Steemit for helping me to be able to give back to my best friend.
I couldn't be doing any of this without Steemit. I want to repay much of his kindness though I know he doesn't require it. We may not always see eye to eye, we fight ebcause he's autistic and we are both mentally ill but at the end of the day this guy always has my back and we've been pals for 15 years now. He has been in my life longer than anyone, literally.
Oh also, I wouldn't even have a DSLR to document my adventures if not for Steemit. I could go on for days about all the different ways Steemit has helped me and now it is helping me help other people. I love Steemit.
**P.S- I got Spring rolls but ate them before I remembered the blogging and didn't have room for dessert though they do have mango and sticky rice which is vegan and for my pescatarian friend they have custard and sticky rice.
