(this post is not to insult the Steemit team but instead is to highlight their responsibility, accountability, and duty of care to vested bloggers)
Earlier I made a couple posts when the site first came back online today, regarding the hack we first experienced.
One of these posts was asking why the Politics link had been removed from the topic list during this first hack, when funnily enough the site went down again. https://steemit.com/steemit/@senseiteekay/politics-link-removed-from-topic-list
I say "funnily enough" because before the site first went down, almost 20 hours ago, I had made a very heavy handed post highlighting Globalization and how the people and not the ruling class could control that process. This post had just started trending as the site went down. https://steemit.com/politics/@senseiteekay/globalization-through-decentralization-fixing-the-world
As soon as the site came back up, I realized this and some other things that seemed suspicious and made a post, which was basically just to voice my discontent with how Steemit has been running in the last 24 hours and why I felt I'd been robbed. This also included a couple questions as to why some users were still allowed to operate whilst most of us experienced downtime and a question as to why a liquidity scam was still being exploited as many of us have seen via steemstream.com (I've since learned that advanced users can connect to steemit without the website). https://steemit.com/steemit/@senseiteekay/something-fishy-is-going-on
I spoke in hast immediately after the hack was briefly fixed as I was quite upset. Other users agreed with me.
I also had a tussle with another user over post authenticity, and if anyone was following that you probably also saw that I was wrong and looked like a complete dickhead whilst doing so. Here is his post for reference: https://steemit.com/anarchism/@keithsmih/we-don-t-need-taxes-where-we-are-going
I also ended up feeling the need to post my article about Decentralized Taxation again but with a different title thanks to the suggestion of .It has also gone no where since the site went down AGAIN. https://steemit.com/politics/@senseiteekay/decentralized-taxation-fixing-a-broken-world
So I write this not only as a recollection of events but almost as a formal complaint as to the lack of support other users have had with the down time. I should count my lucky stars I was not one of the ones whom lost their accounts, and I feel extremely sorry for those that did, but I do feel that a lot of us whom put effort into our posts have been duped.
I'm also very concerned that my question regarding the Politics link still has not been answered, and the problem still exists. Please bookmark the link if you can't find it either, as the page still does exist but is being hidden: https://steemit.com/trending/politics
I can tell you now that if we're beginning to see censorship within the site, especially when it comes to Politics (the one thing that's stopped wars for the last 3000 fucking years), then I will be advocating against this site. another user has already shared this sentiment. The new users I have also brought to this site will follow me also.
Believe me when I say, my voice will be heard.
