I'd like to talk to you about a popular site called "Dog Food Advisor..."
So, I've been skimming threads and threads trying to figure out the huge question... WHAT SHOULD I FEED MY DOG! Upon reading this site it's been an ongoing battle between bad stuff in the dog food to poisonous things inside of my dog's food. I currently feed my dog Royal Canin food and I am stuck at what to feed her. All the dog foods that are popular brands are some how bad for her... I'm stuck at what to do about it. I understand some foods are just a bunch of shit. I was told that Royal Canin was the best brand for her. Upon reading though it was telling me my dog would get kidney stones and other things. So I thought about switching her to Blue Buffalo dog food aka the "Feed your pet like family" type food. Well, they all are saying that is another really bad brand... So I kept trying to find the right food for her!
I have a little short haired Yorkie... Her name is Angel... Like all pet parents, they want what is best for their dog cat horse you name it. I am currently researching different dog foods. So far from this website, they are all saying their dog gets diarrhea and vomiting but deepening my search I found that different breeds of dogs have different genetics and they all need different foods. Not all foods made for your breed (Ex. If your dog was a Yorkie and you bought Royal Canin for Yorkie it wouldn't be worth it.) You should do a lot of research before you buy your dog food! I made the wrong choice on Royal Canin... I will soon be switching my little puppy to either Blue Buffalo or wellness brand of dog food. I haven't made up my mind JUST yet...
Will let you know in another post what I decide... By the way another tip... Don't just go off of one site.. Cause I am finding out that Dog food advisor is just a bunch of Drama on their site... Sometimes you have to go out of your comfort zone.... Please educate!!!
