Our Week 29 2nd prize winner moves up in the ladder to #1 with a sandwich of epic proportions. There's a whole lot of Polish meats going on here which i must confess I'm lovin'. Polish is in my blood and I do enjoy a good sausage and of course bacons. This triple threat Polish creation hit home.
I enjoyed the cultural push on this 1 as you can see and there were a few interesting gems to be found in this entry such as homemade sauerkraut, breadfruit and smoked cheese.
It may not have been the most beautiful lookin' sandwich, however it was probably among the tastiest of the week and exploding with greatness.
all in all a good entry.

This is what
Perhaps taking some inspiration from or paying homage to the classic club sandwich style, this beauty of a sandwich rocked my world. I cannot seem to get over how pretty it was lol. It just looked so very perfect and artisan with Great colours. Pictures were clear and high res and represent the food well. Big fan of the tomato garnish too.
Good use of combining store bought ingredients such as the dips and sauces to create something distinct. Fresh Chicken looked so good too! I'm also a big fan of bell peppers on sandwiches. Adds a bit of crunch, sweetness and freshness
All in all a great entry, points for the spicy cheddar

. Moder has demonstrated a nice sandwich for her first try here. Very vibrant colors and it looks delicious - I am a sucker for cheese and she has delivered. Intrepidsurfers just looks like really good pub food and I was instantly hungry. Haha gotta give them points when they make you want a beer and a burger ASAP."
All I have to say is the usual "bravo to all the contestants this week."

SELECTING WINNERS!
There are now 3 prizes. First Prize = roughly 50% of the prize pool
Second Prize dubbed the "Veto Vote" = roughly 30% of the prize pool + the honour of selecting the following weeks second prize winner. This prize is ideally given to an entry that although it did not win the contest, showed distinction among all the other entries. This could be a feature such as it was the community favourite, it used the most bazaar ingredients, or, it was just the best looking sandwich etc. IMPORTANT! The "Veto Vote" holder may not vote on his or her own sandwich to be selected as the second prize. However, they are still eligible to win First Prize should they enter the contest that week.
Third Prize will be roughly 15% of the prize pool
Roughly 5% of the pool goes towards the "Outstanding Achievement Awards"
