For those who don't know what is Chendul or Cendol, it is a signature food from Malaysia especially Malaysia is a scorching hot country. Cendol is very nice to cool your body off after consuming it, it is like rhino water but tastes really good.
So what is a Cendol? Cendol is a traditional dessert that is really popular in the South East Asia because of the weather of course. It consist of coconut milk which is the main part, some jelly that is shaped like a worm which is made from rice flour, some shaved ice and finally palm sugar. Apart from these basics, other add-ons are present as well for exampler red / green beans, creamed corn, and ice fillings.
Okay enough for the Cendol class, look at the crowd, this is really popular at Georgetown. Even though we felt a little lazy to queue up but since we're here 300 over kilometers from our home, why not wait a little...
Just less than 2 minutes, we are near the counter already. I can't believe with my own eyes, the staff is capable of selling 10 bowls in just one minute. That is like 6 seconds per bowl, even though some are already pre-made.
The seat there is pretty much occupied, but holding the bowl and eat is allowed as long as you don't take the bowl back home of course... Unfortunately I got the pre-made one which the ice has pretty much melted, but still tastes really good especially to kill the heat.
Rating goes for 8/10 for the price of RM3 per bowl. 1 minute 10 bowls, means they earn RM30 per minute, oh my goodness.
