After lots of animal designs, we're going to mix things up with this tech coin. The Equilibrium 5$ coin was minted 2018 in Tokelau and features an interesting mix of natural and futuristic design elements.

The obverse shows a yin and yang symbol in frosted and mirror finish. Inside the yin and yang symbol, a tree is growing from the center. Out of the trunk, an intricate design of circuits emerges. It mirrors the tree and symbolises the balance of nature and technology.

On the reverse, a similar circuit pattern is sprawling on the coin. Unlike other coins from Tokelau, the queen is not straight in the center of the coin but offset to the right. She's inside a circle surrounded by a floral pattern. To the left, a scale picks up the coin's theme of equilibrium.Conclusion
In my opinion, this theme could lead to an exciting series. The balance of nature and technology is a very contemporary topic and lends itself to a range of interesting designs. Do you know other coin series which pick up this theme? I'd love to know other coins with this theme.
