I thought the 5 Guys Bacon Cheeseburger i ate yesterday was pretty good. Actually, better than “pretty good” — it was freakin’ delicious! But i had no idea what was in store for me today. So, last night i drank about a hundred beers — at least! — and swilled much of a little bottle of CC whiskey, while singing Karraoke and getting drunk with my Cousin Rich in a little border town called White Rock.
Sometimes ya just gotta’ blow off some steem!!! Anyway, we had a blast, stayed up late, and generally behaved like we did 25 years ago! Here’s my cuz at about 1:00 am...

We saved the “talk” for this morning (my cuz has some stuff going down and i want to support him), and chatted over several coffees and a bagel w creamcheese. We parted ways and i dipped into “Border Gold” and after a bit of asking what was available, i managed to make off with this bad-boy for $21 cad — cheaper than a Maple!
With the Stackitus taken care of for another day i decided to have second breakfast, and that is where this fabulous burger comes in. Check out this absolute Masterpiece!

Holy frickety-frack! What a totally amazing Cheeseburger! Hands-down like the absolute best i have had since i don’t even remember when! Double-smoked bacon, arugula, onion ring, bacon relish, dill spears, pork/beef patty, yummy cheddar cheese + a fried egg (i looove that option) and lord knows what else was in there, but wow wow wow wow wow!!!! Was that thing tasty! Oh yeah, and the fries were perfect too: crunchy outside, soft inda middle...
I am over-stuffed right now and feel a burger coma coming on... good thing i’m riding the bus back into Van and don’t have to drive, ‘cause i feel like i could nod off any second.
Just about to go under the Fraser river via the Deas Slough tunnel...
It’s another gorgeous day here in good ol’ Van! I hope y’all are out there finding your bliss and stacking a little precious metals while you’re at it.
