I got this recently for a change. It's manufactured by Scottsdale Mint for the Republic of Chad, 2 ounces, .999 fine.
The face value is 1000 Francs CFA, roughly 1.5 euros. The words attached to the "CFA" have changed over the years, starting off as Colonies françaises d'Afrique (French colonies of Africa) and now Communauté Financière Africaine (African Financial Community).
It comes in an informative little box, which also makes a change.
