I once had an angry customer at a job threaten to murder me. Luckily it was a phone based role but he told me he would find me and kill me in a fairly horrific way.

We were allowed to end the calls if customers got too out of hand so I ended the call right there. My role was in compliance and he'd been screwed over by our rep but he didn't need to threaten me! :(
