Technically I'm half Mexican, but as far as food goes I don't think I can remember a time where tortillas, beans and enchiladas were not a option!
So when my husband suggest a carb free month ( just to see what was like) I was understandably hesitant.
However in the spirit of YOLO and also the spirit of 'loosing-weight-and-toning-up" I agreed to give it a go.
A few things I've learned so far:
Cauliflower = rice, bread, beans, chips
Pizza = the thing we shall no longer speak of, I'm still grieving its loss
Musli - can be re created with out oats, surprisingly it does not taste that different!
I'll try and keep you posted ( along with a few of the recipes I used to get me through this long night of no carbs).
