Short Escape from Mumbai to Matheran - Hiking One Tree Hill Point

One tree hill point trek and hiking

My most favorite trek n hiking place in Western Ghats of Mumbai - One Tree Hill Point Matheran.

We were only 4 persons to go to this adventure trip

And we have started early in the morning by taking 1st Local train from Borivali station and reached to Karjat station. From Karjat we travelled to Ambevadi a small village and so called base camp for the trekking to start. I can never forget that old vintage tempo van which is just waiting to go to scrapyard as soon as possible.

Foggy and wet enough atmosphere gave us enough great kick to start over the One Tree Hill.

We started our trek at 10:00 am in the morning from the base camp of the trek.

We reached to our destination One Tree Hill Point within 3 hours. Watching Great scenery of lush green grass all the way.

We Enjoyed a lot.

Seen some good natural insects and some beautiful green rocks.

Tried some horse-riding too on the hills of Matheran.
