I have been at the Steem game for 2.5 years this month, a game that has brought me value far and beyond the sell price of the Steem I hold, the Steem I have earned and, the Steem I am yet to benefit from financially in anyway so far. Yes, I am yet to cash-out a dollar of crypto. This game is one I don't plan on stopping playing, this game is becoming more important by the day.
I pledge to keep doing my best each day to develop Steem in each of the four pillars; creation, development, investment and consumption. I will create what I think adds value, I will support development where I can, I will continue to invest my internal and external earnings in ways I believe will benefit Steem. I will do my best to support those who I believe support Steem.
Part of this role includes the dirty work, the downvoting, the fighting of abuse and, I will act as I see fit to improve the ecosystem and economy. Part of this role is to help where I can and when I can, and I will continue to do this as I see fit. Part of this role is to support users to participate in their role, no matter which pillars they choose to inhabit, as long as they are adding more value than they extract. Part of this role is to add value through ideas put into the ecosystem, no matter if comfortable or not. Part of this role is to make sure that I myself am okay, that I am not suffering, not burning out and not drained to the point I no longer want to be a part of the Steem community.
While there will be many who may not agree with the way I act or what I say at times, I will act in what I believe is the right thing to do in the moment and adjust and evolve as Steem itself changes over time. I commit to evolve continuously while still keeping who I am at the core - and I pledge to #supporthonesty on the Steem blockchain.
