I think everybody likes Sushi rolls and I’m not an exception =) Sometimes I make Japanese dinner at home and this is So easy! All you need to know how to cook the rice =)
We need:
- 150 grams of rice
- 150 grams of fish fillet (salted or smoked, trout or salmon – as you like)
- 100 grams of cream cheese (I use Almette)
- 1 cucumber
- 3 sheets of nori
- 3 tea spoons of rice vinegar
- Soy sauce, ginger, wasabi by taste
- Bamboo mat
1 Step – Cook the rice
Just cook the rice as you usually do it, but without salt. When it’s ready add rice vinegar and mix.
2 Step – cutting
Cut cucumber and fish in stripes.
3 Step – build sushi rolls!
1. Put nori on the bamboo mat shiny side down.
2. Spread rice covering almost the entire sheet except the upper margin of about 2 cm that should be kept uncovered. You can wet your hands or just use spoon for this.
3. Put the ingredients in the middle. Like on the picture.
4. Roll the sushi with the bamboo mat and leave in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
5. Сut the sushi rolls with wet, sharp and clean knife. It is useful to keep the knife wet all time, that helps cutting through the rice and nori.
Your sushi rolls are ready!
