It's not new news that it's been a couple of years since I couldn't resist the whole night party. Gone are those moments when I was awake, dancing and with energy until dawn: I think I started my night life very young and now at 27 years old I think I've had enough and I'm more to go to dinner, drink a little and go home to sleep comfortably in my bed. And that's exactly what we did last night ❤️.
No es ninguna noticia nueva que hace ya un par de años que no resisto la fiesta de la noche completa. Muy atrás han quedado esos momentos en los que estaba despierta, bailando y con energía hasta el amanecer: creo que empecé mi vida noctura muy de joven y ahora a mis 27 años creo que ya tuve suficiente y estoy más para ir a cenar, beber un poco y volver a casa a dormir cómodamente en mi cama. Y eso fue exactamente lo que hicimos anoche ❤️.
Yesterday, Wednesday, was the first day of Holy Week: this means an XL weekend for everyone, and bars and restaurants were quick to put up offers and promotions to attract customers. The girls and I decided to walk around the city center and everything looked like a typical Saturday night. You could even feel that everyone was happy for the short week. For this walk we decided to go to a bar that we had not been before, and this was difficult to find since my cousin and I visited all the places in this area 😅.
Ayer miércoles fue el primer día de la semana santa: esto significa un fin de semana XL para todos y los bares y restaurantes no tardaron en poner ofertas y promociones para atraer clientes. Las chicas y yo decidimos dar una vuelta por el centro de la ciudad y todo se veía como un típico sábado a la noche. Hasta se podía sentir que todos estaban felices por la semana corta. Para este paseo decidimos ir a un bar que no habíamos ido antes, y esto fue difícil de encontrar ya que mi prima y yo nos recorrimos todos los lugares de esta zona 😅.
Walking and walking we arrived at one of the bars we used to go to when we were 18 years old. Of course we always arrived after midnight straight to dance, but this time it was 9 PM and we were already there ready for dinner. I must say that it was very strange to see everything so calm and with the music calm enough to chat. My God, I felt so grown up 😅.
Caminando y caminando llegamos a uno de los bares a los que íbamos cuando teniamos 18 años. Por supuesto siempre llegabamos pasada la medianoche directo a bailar, pero esta vez eran las 9 PM y ya estábamos ahí listas para la cena. Debo decir que fue muy raro ver todo así tan tranquilo y con la música tranquila como para charlar. Dios mío, me sentí muy adulta 😅.
True to form, we decided to try a few drinks before I indulge in my classic beer. Drinks at this bar cost 600 ARS (almost 4 USD), a fairly reasonable price considering that we don't go out drinking every day. My drink was called Mojito Malibu and it was very sweet, something that is very treacherous in alcoholic drinks, because when you want to realize it you are a little dizzy 😂.
Fieles a nuestro estilo, decidimos probar algunos tragos antes de que yo caiga en mi clásica cerveza. En este bar los tragos costaban 600 ARS (casi 4 USD), un precio bastante razonable considerando que no todos los días salimos a beber. Mi trago se llamaba Mojito Malibú y era muy dulce, algo que resulta muy traicionero en los tragos alcohólicos, porque cuando te querés dar cuenta estas algo mareada 😂.
Regarding food, this bar didn't have many weird options like the things we like to try, so I ended up with the usual classic hamburger. The girls ordered a snack with things from the sea that I really don't like and my cousin ordered a stuffed bondiola that looked good but its flavor wasn't so good. So even though I had reneged a little on what I asked for, I was later relieved to think that it wasn't such a bad choice 😅.
Con respecto a la comida, este bar no tenía mucha opción rara como las cosas que nos gusta probar así que yo terminé con la clásica hamburguesa de siempre. Las chicas se pidieron una picada con cosas de mar que en verdad no me gustan y mi prima pidió una bondiola rellena que se veía bien pero su sabor no lo estaba tanto. Así que a pesar de haber renegado un poco por lo que pedí, después me alivió pensar que no fue una elección tan mala 😅.
The good thing about this bar is that after midnight the kitchen service closed, only the bar was open and they played music to dance until late. Actually I didn't even consider this option so I didn't bother to dress up for the occasion, but when I was there and after a few drinks it would have been nice to stay a bit longer. BUT my day yesterday started very early so I still preferred the option of going home to sleep 😂.
Lo bueno que tenía este bar es que después de la medianoche el servicio de cocina cerraba, solo quedaba abierta la barra y ponen música para bailar hasta tarde. En verdad ni siquiera consideré esta opción así que ni me molesté en ponerme ropa para la ocasión, pero cuando estaba ahí y luego de algunos tragos hubiese estado bueno quedarnos un poco más. PERO mi dia de ayer empezó muy temprano así que seguía prefieriendo la opción de ir a mi casa a dormir 😂.
Now that the cold season is approaching, my desire to go out is significantly reduced, so I am taking advantage of the last weekends before the real winter arrives. I think I'm fine now with these types of outings, where I can go discover new places and go home early. Did this mean approaching 30? Well, I don't dislike it that much 😅.
Ahora que se acerca la época de frío mis ganas de salir reducen significativamente así que estoy aprovechando los últimos fines de semana antes de que llegue el verdadero invierno. Creo que estoy bien ahora con este tipo de salidas, en donde puedo ir a descubrir lugares nuevos y volver a mi casa temprano. ¿Esto significaba acercarse a los 30? Bueno, no me desagrada tanto 😅.
