I love breakfast when you can sit out in the sunshine. 9 weeks ago I sat in this cafe and had my breakfast when the weather was fine. The cafe is located directly in the pedestrian zone of Weilheim and you can watch the hustle and bustle of the pedestrians passing by. In case of bad weather, one also finds a nice place to stay in the interior.
It is a small cafe with a manageable selection, but one can get there a big or small compact breakfast with egg, jam, sausage and cheese. As I don't eat much in the early morning, this delicious lye corner with a small piece of butter is enough for me. A lye corner is made from puff pastry and dipped in lye like a pretzel before baking.
This gives the lye corner its special taste. One does not get these lye corners everywhere, only very few cafes have these in their assortment here they taste excellent and they are sprinkled with different grains.
The coffee is from the well-known Italian company Lavazza, which supplies various cafes in Germany with their selected coffee beans. On the picture you can see the Cafe Crema and Milchkaffe which are a good start into the day.
