A new restaurant has opened a few weeks ago in Herrsching am Ammersee, Bavaria. After a Chinese restaurant had closed more than a year ago, there was no more choice of Asian cuisine. So we were even more curious today how the food in the Vietnamese Restaurant iPHO will taste.
It's a really cozy restaurant, which is not very big with its just over ten tables. The menu is extensive, but still clearly arranged and especially the font has an easy to read size. Reading was also possible without glasses.
The service was very friendly and took our order.
Bún gà nuong - rice noodle bowl with chicken, fresh salad, cucumber, bean sprouts, peanuts and asian herbs, served with homemade sauce
Dùi gà Sukiyaki - crispy chicken with fresh market vegetables in Sukiyaki sauce.
Gà xào rough - Chicken with fresh market vegetables in soy sauce
Since we did not want rice as a side dish, we also chose the fried noodles.
The dishes were served on plates after a waiting time of 10 minutes at the table. We all liked the food very much, especially the fried noodles that were ordered specially for this purpose had an outstanding taste.
I can recommend the restaurant iPHO, the food tastes good and the prices are acceptable.
