Hello friends, today I would like to share one of my food experience. This one is Indonesian special snack or appetizer, Martabak. Martabak is made from the flour as its' main ingredient and it usually has many kind of topping inside. Usually martabak could be found at the the corner of the street, at food stalls or anywhere. But not many places sold the mini martabak (only 4-8 slices for a portion). One of the place was Martabakku Menteng in Grand Indonesia. The other branches of the same brand, sold the big portion one. The small portion is really ideal for 1-2 persons.
The Martabakku Menteng food stall was not big and it was located in food print food court area at 4A floor, Grand Indonesia - Central Jakarta. The dining place was really crowded yesterday afternoon, at tea time. Many customers came to the martabak stall.

The menu
Savory Martabak is Martabak Telor (Egg Martabak), the main ingredients are eggs and also flour. Usually thick and crunchy.

The sweet martabak, usually thick and sweet.

They cooked the martabak.

The dining area

The waitress gave to Mom after they finished. They usually put it in a box, as taken away, but we could also eat in the dining area. The service was quick and the waiters and waitress were all helpful and friendly.

Here was the martabak, ours was the complete martabak one with the nuts, chocolate, cheese and also sesame seeds inside.

The flavor was sweet and also savory from the cheese. The martabak tasted good too, it was soft and easy to bite. It was delicious, they didn't fry it with lots of oil and used the good quality ingredients.
