Aceh is one of the provinces that is rich in a variety of regional specialties, not only known in the local area, in the Indonesian capital, Acehnese Jakarta food is very easy to find even though the Aceh-Jakarta distance is almost 10,000 kilometers far in distance.
Despite being outside the region, Acehnese specialties, such as Mie Aceh, Martabak and Aceh Fried Rice can easily be found, the majority of Acehnese who migrated to the capital did indeed open many typical Acehnese culinary outlets there.
One of the Aceh culinary outlets I visited in Jakarta was Mie Aceh Nyak Lin, although this outlet has the name Mie Aceh, a very familiar menu there is Aceh Fried Rice. Giving name or branded with Mie Aceh outside the region can be ascertained easily known by the people who come to the capital, especially the people of Aceh.
In the Nyak Lin Mie Aceh stall, all the workers there are Acehnese, so when they are far from the village, they arrive at this culinary outlet. I feel like I am in my own hometown.
Mie Aceh Nyak Lin is one of the most famous Acehnese food outlets in the city of Jakarta, many capital city artists have visited here, it can be seen from several photo frames showing the capital artists enjoying culinary delights here. Even though it is in the center of the capital, the food sold at Mie Aceh Nyak Lin is very affordable, the price offered is still very cheap.
