BreadTalk was founded on March 6, 2003 by George Quek, an entrepreneur who previously started a successful food court network in Singapore, Food Junction. The concept is different from other bakeries in general, taking into account the appearance of a store that is designed to look exclusive and show the bread-making kitchen to its visitors through transparent glass. Thanks to a good consumer marketing strategy, when first opened, BreadTalk stores are often filled with visitors who are willing to queue to try their products.
His most famous bakery is a bread laced with abon on it. This bread is a signature food BreadTalk and is now widely imitated by various other bakeries.
