Carrabba's Restaurant -- Italian Food American Style

Who doesn't like Italian food? Carrabba's is an Italian Food Chain in Florida that is well known and one of our favorite restaurants.

What is unique about Carrabba's, and why we enjoy it, is the entertainment aspect of watching the 8-9 cooks prepare the meals as we sit at the Kitchen bar.

They carry all the traditional Italian fare you can imagine (all pasta dishes, fish, pizza etc.). Last night we enjoyed mussells and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers, just delicious. We were so full, we ordered a simple pizza and a shrim/scallop dish.

We sat at the ktichen bar watched the 600 degree brick pizza oven filled with various pizzas. The team works hard there. The atmosphere is fast paced and casual dining.

Last night, we even were given a free fried cheese/tomato sauce appetizer dish while we waited. This is not unusual and one of the benefits sitting at the kitchen bar.

I highly recommend this place. We go a few times per month. The average pasta/chicken dish is $15-$20 and the pizza's are $13-$15 with specials weekly.

If you have a chance to sit at the kitchen bar and enjoy some Merlot, take a chance. I think you would like it very much.
