Street foods has always attarcts a lot of buyers, anywhere and anytime. Its very cheap and on the spot readily availble foods that you can easily grab and munch on. It is one of the on the go food you can opt to have. And they seem to be everywhere!
I for one has weakness over it. I cant let a week go by without dropping by to our favorite street foods. It has been a childhood favorite snacks of all time.
The Location
The pull-out cart stand of the Fishball ni Ate is mainly located in the center of Sogod, Southern Leyte. It is near a school, a park and Municipal Offices.
The Food
FISH BALL
Php1.00 ($0.020)
It is one of the most popular and loved street foods! It really aint 100% made of fish, its mostly flour and a little veggie. Then cooked in deep-fry. But we still love it!
I love how we just poke it over a skewer and dip into our favorite sauces, either in sweet and spicy flavors.
KWEK KWEK
Php01.00 ($0.20)
Kwek kwek are boiled egg that are dipped into orange coated batter and deep fried too.
KIKIAM
3 pcs for Php10.00 ($0.20)
My Verdict
I love street foods so much! It is truly addicting to keep poking at newly cooked fishball and line them up in my skewer. Each bite is delicious, I get to savor each piece in my mouth. I think, fishballs do great if they have a great sauce. It is the sauce that gives you the ultimate flavors.
But you know how these foods are prepared so you eat at your own risk. Eat in minimal intake.
That's all for today, see you till our next munch time. Ciao!
