I've written about this restaurant in Korean in TASTEEM KOREA and this time I wanted to introduce this great place to the rest of the world.
These are the main reasons why I like this place so much.
- It tastes good, obviously
- They sell the dishes in small portions, so you can order 3 dishes if you go in twos and 5 dishes if you go in threes
- The price of each dish is relatively cheap
- If you have to wait, they give you a discount of 150 won per minute!! I think this is absolutely crazy policy! (I've waited for 13 minutes and got 1,950 won discount!)
- If a table for 6 opens up, they wil give you the big table even if you come there in twos (not many restaurants do this)
I went to "CHINGA TANG" with two friends and these are what we ordered.
Slightly spicy chili fried port 8,000 won
If you take a bite, you will hear the beautiful crunch sound!
This is called Yangjangpi 15,000won. You mix the seafood, vegetables and noodles with mustard sauce.
Seafood Jjamgbbong Soup 12,000 won.
It's full of seafood. It's a little spicy, but you need a little spicy food to eat with all the other fried food.
Mayonnaise Fried Shrimp 9,000won.
I love fried shrimp and there is no way that this cannot taste good!
Fried Sirloin 7,000 won. I've ordered a lot of fried dishes and this was the far most crunchiest one! You slightly dip it in the soy sauce and eat, delicous!
And finally, the hard liquor! It's 30% alcohol. We drank 2 bottles, 15,000 won per bottle. Not to expensive.

5 dishes + two bottles : 81,000 won
13 minutes of waiting so 1,950 won discount
Total payment 81,000 - 1,950 = 79,050 won!
