Carrying on with my STEEM dapp celebration, I am giving

Hive account@tasteem a turn as I have always enjoyed the platrofm, community and support I have been shown since the day I first became a foodie!

My loyal followers who have paid close attention will remember Molly Bloom's http://mollybloomsstratford.com/ as I have had a ferw pints here over the years. Along with Bentleys and The Boar's Head, this is the third of the trinity of great, old school pubs that are the gathering places in this town. It is owned by my good buddy Rob so you will have to assume I am a little jaded in this review!

The occasion for this lunch meal was to get together with one of the guys who welcomed me to this town and has done a great job building a career and a family since I have met him. What better place than Molly's?

Can I Start you with a drink?

Ah Emily you know me too well. It was Emily's second last day after 8 years of running the place and I actually didn't find that out til the end of the meal. Good news is she is headed across the square to another great restaurant (The Red Rabbit)( which is also owned by a good friend, and has been reviewed by me on tasteem!

I opted for a real gem of an IPA named Redline Brewhouse http://www.redlinebrewhouse.com/ called Clutch IPA. My buddy Ian went for a Beau's Lugtread Lager https://beaus.ca/ He is expressive and talks with his hands when there is beer served!

Liquid Lunch with a side of Food?

This menu ranges from the standard pub grub, to burgers, to their sidnature lattice fries to irish entrees and beyond. I love that they have added a Bloomin' Onion to their sharables menu and I hear the wings are as good as the fish & chips. Needless to say, I had some considering to do.

Breaking with one of my patterns and solely to please my nephew Hive account@matkodurko, I didn't opt for the burger, and went for the vegetarian curry!! I also managed to snap a picture before diving in. I do love my curries and make no exception in pub curries which are different but equally as delicious. I went with vegetarian more with my other vegetarian friends here and the only cruelty was directed at the bountiful zucchini.

You can see my friend went with the fish and chips as it is his old favourite and soooo well done here.

Zeke's Closing Impression

I have loved this place since the first day I stepped in the doors. It is the local gathering place for football games, live bands, beers with friends, burlesque sahows, trivia nights, karaoke and anything else that brings the folks to a pub. What I LOVE about it is the awesome ownership, how I am treated like Norm from Cheers, and the fact that the art that comes from the sister gourmet restaurant Revival House https://www.revival.house/ and the chefs there bleed over into this great kitchen. Definitely a place to visit daily to be an upstanding member of the community.
