Having the in-laws over here on holidays had been great. We have had some time off work and got to prepare ourselves mentally for our goals in the coming year. It's also been awesome to share ideas with the older generation and get their views on all of these topics like cryptocurrencies, blogging and becoming digital nomads. But by far my favorite part about this holiday has been the food!
Yesterday was a great day for food, we drove from Brisbane to Byron Bay and stopped off in Kingscliff. We found a lovely little cafe called Mockingbird that catered to the meat eaters (in laws) and the vegans (me and my wife). Check this out... ![image](
After that we carried on to Byron Bay where we had a lovely coffee while I got my Steem on ![image](
And then to top it off I ran into some old friends who suggested the Pad See Ew at a little restaurant called Thai Lucy. My wife and I shared the Pad See Ew as well as a Fuk Tong w/ coconut rice. I felt naughty ordering the Fuk Tong, but I was glad I did, it could be the best Thai food I've ever tasted! ![image](
Anyway, we have just woken up and all things going well it will be another day off gluttony! Thanks for reading!
