Boy, finally - results are out!
Firstly, I have to sincerely apologise for taking sooooo long. Tun M is moving faster than me. Had some trouble with my connection and much work that piled up, and honestly had a tough time deciding cuz everyone's post made me nostalgic and teary eyed.
I don't know about the rest of my fellow citizens, but I'm still very much feeling all "jiwang" over our win, our nation, our Tun, and our new Malaysia reboot!
Am also quite loving my ink stained fingernail, I'm willing it to stay on as long as possible as it is a constant reminder of hope, unity, solidarity and making history in such an epic way it will stand as a beacon to the world on how democracy was WON peacefully.
Ok, enough of that, let's get to the good stuff. Firstly, let me express my heartfelt thanks to all those who participated in this contest, in supporting me, and above all else showing a little GE14 love on SteemIt.

WITH HER PRAYER:
My prayer is that God raise up the Josephs and the Daniels of our time, ones that rever God and love the nation. May God bless each vote, and protect those that will be elected into position. Peace and grace upon our nation as we usher in change. Amen.
Our 3rd place winner, taking away 1SBD, is none other than
, who challenged us to walk the walk, with how we as citizens will make the change first. I'm still not quite over your 2.5 minutes at the polling station. Just wonderful.
WITH HER PRAYER:
That Malaysia continue to raise leaders with integrity whose values are above question. That they may serve and govern the people of Malaysia wisely and selflessly for many generations to come. May all Malaysians live together in love, joy and peace and our children and our children's children continually growing into their true identity as Malaysians diverse and different rather than Malay, Chinese or Indian. I pray that Malaysia will prosper into an exemplary mature and dynamic economy and Malaysians sharing generously and being a great blessing to other nations and peoples around the world.
The 2nd place, receiving 2SBD goes to none other than our resident Teh Tarik co-host with
....
A magical pic of his finger, a really meaningful song, and a heartfelt blog post. You have some really good writing chops
.
WITH HIS PRAYER:
So my picture is my left index finger pointing towards the sun in the sky. This finger covered in ink. Such a simple thing but yet so collectively powerful. This finger that contributed to the change that we now see upon us. Probably my finest and proudest moment as a Malaysian now documented and lives on in the Steemit blockchain hopefully for decades to come. The Sun and sky are hope for tomorrow. For the future. For whatever happens today and in life, good or bad, tomorrow always comes. And with it, Hope. So keep fighting the good fight, everyone! We've finally gotten rid of the source of the problems but we've still got a long way to go. Mistakes will happen and there will be hardships yet to come but as long as we never forget what we have been fighting for for almost a decade we will be fine. To a better and brighter Malaysia that everyone can be proud of just to even be associated with. I know I am proud of all of us and truly proud to be Malaysian :)
And last but not least, 1st place, for 3SBD for that Petronas Ad, touching rendition -
WITH HER PRAYER:
I bless us to own up our country and also love it even though it has flaws. I bless us to stand together even where is differences in opinions. Even in conflicts, we can still love our home country. I bless this country to rise and shine in the eyes of the world and fulfill its utmost destiny, to show harmony amidst so many differences. We will see the leaders holding to their integrity and fear God. We will stand behind and keep praying for them, whether we are of the same religion or not. We hope for understanding for a smooth transition because it is the first time we are doing it! Age, skin colour and beliefs will not be an issue to uphold the country. Let's see Malaysia as a beautiful place that in diversity, we obtain our strength. The old will dream again and the young will see visions of the country for the future generations to come and also for ourselves.
Special Mentions
There are a few entries that caught my heart and I can't just let it go without a little special mention and some love with 0.2SBD ;)
