Yesterday was just a normal working Wednesday, I was on my laptop doing my own projects and composing my last post at my home like a normal day. Suddenly got a phone call from , saying she was having a bad day and as friends, we are ready to help each other to pass the bad days together.
Since Natalie asked where should we hang out, my way of cheering my bad days is to have a chill drive away from the city to some nearby places. I suggested let's go to Genting Premium Outlet since I haven't been there myself ever since it's official launch and that's how I end up at Genting on a Wednesday afternoon.
So we packed up all our gadgets and wait for Natalie to reach my home and we depart together, and within 45 mins I've stopped at Gohtong Memorial Park before heading Genting Premium Outlet for some rest and photo shooting session since is nice weather out here.
The Weather up here is just nice, not too cold nor too hot, well balanced as there some clouds surrounding and blocking the sun formed some nice light rays around it. While
Why it's the place name Gohtong you wondered? That's because it was named after the late founder of Genting, Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong. He passed away at the aged of 89 on the 23 Oct 2007, his body was buried right here at Gohtong Memorial Park. You can drop by to pay your tribute and thank him for creating this masterpiece of art before heading up to Genting.

After all the wefie and photo taken on the Memorial Park, it's time for us to depart to GPO before the day fades away. It took us another 5 minutes of driving to reach Genting Premium Outlet, finding car park was relatively easier since it's a weekday π and the parking rate is only RM 5 (Weekend RM 8). There are lots of factory outlet shops and restaurant for us to slowly explore but first take photos.
Genting Premium Outlet was completed back on 14th June 2017, is also known as South East Asia hilltop Premium Outlet. It contains most of the similar brand out, same as other premium outletsβ like the Mitsui, brands like Coach, Kate Spade, Micheal Kors, Timberland and Ralph Lauren (just to name a few). As of now, about 75% of the shop is opened and start business whereas 25% is still renovating in progress
Quite a decent amount of people have at least bought something as I observe around, might be due to all the promotion and offers that is on-going since is almost year end. For us, is like relax, chill and walk around to look what's new around here and shopping at GPO mostly won't sweat since the weather is so cold.
Time flies fast, daylight began to fade away and the weather is starting to get cold; when you're cold find ice-cream to eat. It's like the best thing and the most regret thing to do in my life π€£ because whenever I had something cold, I will preserve the cold in my body for a quite certain amount of time.
After finishing the ice cream, chills started to attack my nerve, β haha and it's time to get some hot food to eat. Foods are relatively expensive in GPO, and for that we head back to the car, drive to 66 Corner Gohtong Jaya, a famous Chinese restaurant here in Gohtong. A lot of people usually drive all the way up from KL just to have dinner, supper or casual yum-cha (chillout) with friends and family especially the midnight during weekends. You'll see full of crowds like the picture shown below and parking are limited as well
After finishing our dinner, it's time to end our Genting road trip and head back to KL, it was a fun and relaxing trip for us, especially for
