All fresh and fruity!
Volterra is a magical place in the middle of Tuscany, Italy. High up on a Hill you can see it when you drive in from a far distance. But this post is not about Volterra, it is about the farmers market there.
Agriturismo
In Italy there is a way of enjoying your holiday, it is called agriturismo. You are able to sleep with the local farmers, who present you their local food, wines And olive oils! It is a great way to help the farmers and to get to know the Italien flavours.
A lot of these locals Also sell their products on the markets All arround the country. These markets have lovely vegestabels, meats and many more. The tomatoes and paprika's look awefull but they taste as the best. I am sure to visit more of these farmers markets, and I will share their story And pictures with you. For a start; Volterra!
