A couple of weeks ago I went to Berlin for a short trip. It´s close to Hamburg but I´ve never really been there besides for business trip. My mate Olli loves Berlin and knows the city quite well, so he decided to join in on that trip and show me around.
After we arrived in Berlin we started off with a big and delicious breakfast at a place called "Spreegold"
Of course we had to visit the east side gallery to see some of that amazing art
As we both love Techno we had to check out the RAW terrain where lots of clubs are located, for example the Berghain
After all that walking we felt like we deserved a beer! We went to a cozy little pub called "Dachkammer" in Friedrichshain
Next stop was Checkpoint Charlie
We also had a stroll through the Mall of Berlin. It´s a really nice and big mall with a good variety of shops
The highlight of the trip was the visit of a little burger shop called "Outbreak Food". Olli knew the place and insisted that we go there for dinner, because he never ate a better burger in Germany. The restaurant was really small and only had enough space to host 8 people, which gave it a really nice and funny atmosphere.
We had a couple of "Tannenzäpfle" beers and waited patiently to get our burgers that were prepared with a lot of love in front of our eyes. I had a vegetarian burger with a patty made out of beans and handcut fries on the side - it was amazing!
Thank you so much for reading - I hope you enjoyed it!
