Hi friends! I continue my story about our trip in Transcarpathia. I was interested in cozy hotel where I can stop and spend the night. I want to dinner was delicious, and good morning coffee. I was traveling with my husband. Sure to be a good atmosphere to have pleasant memories. In Mukachevo we found the hotel "Palanok." It is 300 meters from the famous castle "Palanok". I was wondering - what means Palanok? Palanok - oak stockade, which were fortified the castle in the seventeenth century.
Very nice cozy room we rented for only $ 17 per night.
It smells of wood. From a small window overlooking the castle hill.
In the evening we went to the restaurant for dinner, where we tasted Transcarpathian Kettle dish. Kettle - a stew made from meat, sweet pepper, ground paprika, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots and spices. Actually, this Hungarian cuisine, but very common in Transcarpathia!
For fans of antiques and national Carpathian style I recommend this hotel!
