Cooking Class in Thailand: Local Market Tour!

What I wanted to do the most during my trip to Thailand this time was to taking cooking classes! Most of the tourists choose the cooking school after talking to travel agencies when they get to Thailand. Depends on the menu, time, price. However, I have already decided that I'm going to take a cooking class at Pantawan cooking school before going to Thailand. And the reason is...! 4-5 months ago, I was following this Thai YouTuber who traveling Thailand and introduces all the delicious street food, restaurants and so on! That YouTuber was the teacher of Pantawan Cooking School! I became her fan while watching her videos, I really wanted to take the cooking class from her!

When I arrived in Chiang Mai, first I called the cooking school and asked if we can take the class from her. Unfortunately, she was on a business trip for a while so she was out of the country. I heard that the other teacher would teach me. I was disappointed but I still wanted to take a class from Pantawan! (but then later, a great thing will happen ...!)

Early in the morning, the Pantawan staff came to pick us up to the front of the hotel. And then he brought us to the local market. I found that the cooking school was located very close to my hostel! So we went to the local market that really close from my hotel.

Everything is written in Thai, so I went through this market many times but didn't even know it was Market!

It was a very impressive market! It was a small local market but diverse products were neatly arranged.

Vegetables, seafood, and meat were very cheap and fresh! The staff from Pantawan, explain all the ingredients one by one to us! It was a meaningful time to learn about Thai ingredient at the local market as much as I like cooking.
