Hops Restaurant and Bar Ballito

I am still writing on our trip to Ballito. Staying in a guest house means that one must eat out a lot, as there are no self catering facilities available. This time we went for dinner at Hops Restaurant and Bar. It is the bottom restaurant in the photo above.

Being a Restaurant / Bar they have a bar area and a number of televisions, broadcasting sport.

With a name like HOPS, I was looking forward to a large selection of local craft beers, but was disappointed, as they did not have craft beers. They did however stocked some imported beer, and I opted for a good old Guinness, and my wife had a Blue Lagoon cocktail.

We again had a window seat, with a view of the ocean not to far away!!

After my Guinness, I decided to go for a Castle Tank Beer. Basically, it is a Castle Beer that is delivered straight from the brewery into a 500 litter copper tank at the Restaurant, from where it is served. As you can see, it came Ice Cold.

KwaZulu Natal is know for it's curry, thus we both ordered some lamb curry.

Looking at the curry, below and thinking back to the meal, I am getting hungry again!! It was delicious.

Again we had a great evening out!!
