'Main Train Station 3'
Walking around the main train station relaxes me. I get a feeling that the only thing in front of me is a long voyage. It happens, even though I'm not even taking a train today. It must be the magic of the railways showing its calm worry-less face and I absolutely don't mind staring at it.
The simple clock above the entrance to the main hall of the building reminds me of the ever-lasting possibility of passengers missing their train. Yes, it happened to most of us at least once. The trains run on their tight schedule. Who's aboard is aboard. There is always another train to catch. And, I do mean it metaphorically, too.
I wonder if children still build and run toy railroads these days. It was a must-have when I was a kid. Hours were spent in designing the tracks, setting up the surroundings and running endless loops of joy. Maybe that's where the magic actually came from.
Then again, maybe it is all about sitting and waiting for the train. Several minutes spent in a peace of mind. A thoughtless moment helping the body refresh without an intrusion of problem-solving mind loops. Maybe all of it combined?
Be it as may, train stations, trains and railways will always carry a note of tranquillity for me. Because you see, the end of the track doesn't really exist. All the railways of the world are connected just like the oceans. Imagine what a beautiful world this would be if people finally understood that all of us should also be connected by omnipresent goodwill.
