I probably mentioned earlier that my city is called Uyo, located in the State of Akwa Ibom in Southern Nigeria. For someone who hops into public transport to go to work and back everyday, without worrying about heavy traffic and air pollution, I really love my city. The climate, the food, the drinks, the men and women, the buzz of the city; everything is near perfect even in our imperfection.
Today I have to share with you a section of the road I ply everyday in order to get to work. Roads like this make me appreciate my city - no hassles. I, like many other inhabitants of this city want more infrastructural development, we want to be like the United States, France, UK, Germany, Canada, China and the rest of the world's developed countries but in the mean time we all love our city, Uyo.
