I've been eating a plant-based diet since Thanksgiving and saw a recipe for a seitan cheesesteak and immediately started craving it. I bought a nice Portuguese roll and made my own seitan. I chose to skip the cheese because I don't want to eat too much fake food. I fried up some onions, peppers, and mushrooms, along with the seitan and served it up with a bit of ketchup. I devoured it! Was it as good as a genuine Philly Cheesesteak? No, but pretty good nonetheless.
