I was in Southern France a few years ago and saw a convertible that I’d never seen before. I took the photos below and researched it when I got home from vacation. The car was a Wiesmann, a handmade German car with a BMW engine that was produced from 1993 to its bankruptcy in 2014. It was a very nice car with a gecko as it’s emblem. Apparently the gecko was meant to symbolize the car’s ability to stick to the road like a gecko’s ability to stick to vertical surfaces.
