Ponquitos of auyama (pumpkin)
The snack time for many parents becomes a bit difficult task, because they do not know what to do to please the little ones of the house, and in the same way feed them healthily.
And it is a little more complicated for us Venezuelans who are in this daily struggle for survival, but we must be very fair with our children who also deserve to be spoiled as we were as children.
That's why I want to share this recipe that is cheap, easy and quick to prepare.
You only need:
200 gr. wheat flour (leavening is better)
10 gr. baking powder
1 pinch of salt
100 gr. sugar
100 gr. Butter
1 egg
200 gr. mashed auyama (pumpkin)
Prepare it like this:
The first thing is to preheat the oven to about 160 ° C.
Immediately start mixing the dry ingredients (rigo flour, salt and baking powder. Minus sugar) in a cup.
In another cup mix the sugar and butter, until the mixture is creamy, then add the egg and beat very well.
Then we combine little by little and mixing the dry ingredients very well with the butter, sugar and egg mixture, after this is well beaten we add the auyama puree.
Flour the tray of ponquitos and add small portions in each mold.
Baking will not take us more than 25 minutes.
