Ideas keep flowing on the Steem blockchain.
A couple months back I wrote a post about the project and how excited I was about that. This is a group in China that is bringing the Steem blockchain into that country.
Without going into too many details, I was excited to see Steem embraced in that part of the world. We know China is advanced technologically with social media being big there. It is also a country that embrace mobile meaning an application catering to that has a large targeted audience. In a country with well over a billion people who do a great deal of social activity, this could be huge.
Today, they announced a game they produced called Steemkillers. It is a mafia type game that necessitates some strategy.
What is interesting about this project is how it combines gaming and the Steem blockchain. The Steem economy consists a great deal of the upvote and here we see another example of this being integrated in.
The game is free for anyone to play. This is one of the attractive features. However, only those who delegate SP are going to have their results posted with winners receiving an upvote worth 10X the total SP delegated.
This is an interesting twist on the formula we were using around here. They are also releasing this on the Asch blockchain.
Here are more details of the project.

Obviously the excitement here comes from the potential market that is being targeted. It is good to see more applications show up on this blockchain. Here we have a group catering to those in their country (in addition to trying to branch out), one that is, at times, difficult to target.
When you have an advanced society in terms of the technology, it is of benefit to get in early. Blockchain and cryptocurrency are technologies that are going to disrupt a great deal over the next decade. Those who get in early stand to benefit a great deal more.
This often takes insight into what is taking place. Those without the technological expertise, at least at a base level, are going to be latecomers. Unfortunately, that encompasses much of the population.
WeChat is one of the largest social media applications in the world. Alibaba is every bit the presence that Amazon is in the west. The Chinese adopted the Internet and social media. They are also a country primed for cryptocurrency since they already embraced "digital money". Many of the citizens are accustomed to paying for things through mobile applications.
Here, again, we see the power of Steem. With a blockchain that allows people to build upon, we see the development accelerating. This is going to only grow as more people find this ecosystem. Word is spreading as evidenced by what is taking place. Eventually, we will see this translate into more users as the applications find their way onto people's phones.
The next 12 months should see a tremendous amount of growth in this ecosystem. The pieces are starting to fall into place.
