I understand your perspective. I thank you for the thorough response. I myself try to follow as many commandments as possible, discipline myself to continually follow more, and encourage others to follow commandments as well. With that said, i do understand how much i have been forgiven, so i love much as the woman in Luke 7. I think you may be mistaken about the sacrificial system and the unclean animals being food. Kosher is not in The Bible, that is talmud. God calls clean things clean and unclean things unclean for a reason. All the animals Father names as unclean, Our Father makes clear, shouldn't be eaten. If our bodies are the temple of The Holy Spirit, why would we suddenly be told to eat things that God put here as the world's natural garbage disposals and have been proven above all things to cause disease and sickness when eaten. Also, God offers that sheet 3 times to Peter and each time he says no ... and even said he would not transgress against God. He still never ate those unclean animals after and i think The Word makes it very clear that the vision was about the roman soldiers. God says He will clean gentiles in His Word, not pigs and snakes and the such. He just doesn't contradict himself. The apostles still didn't eat this food unless they thought it would seriously make a Brother or Sister stumble, would do so out of love, and then go back inmediately to avoiding these animals... becaus they are not food. They kept things simple and easy to understand until the point they could tell them to eat clean as well. Unclean does not mean bad, it just means not food. These animals had a function, but it was not to be eaten... it was to clean the dead things and waste from the earth. Think about it... a pig is a garbage disposal. Do a small study and you will see that bacteria can not be cooked of it, it stores disease and bacteria in it's fat, and been 100% proven to cause cancer. The unclean animals cause disease and death when eaten. He told us for our own good, not His. With the sacrifical laws... I thank God it is in effect. If it weren't... Jesus would have died for nothing. The fact that the sacrifical law is in effect is the only reason Yeshua's Blood covers us. There can be no forgiveness of sins without the shedding blood... this is sacrificial law. While we don't have to sacrifice anything ourselves... like goats or red heifers... but because it is in effect ... our sins are forgiven by the blood of Yeshua Ha'Mashiac. A strong point i would like to make is that Yeshua said "not one jot and not one tittle will be removed." I think we should listen to Him more closely than anyone. I encourage you to season your words with salt Brother, love much, and be careful yourself about rejecting God's Word. The Word never says that we can eat anything we want. You are adding that. He says not to call unclean what he calls clean, he was talking about the soldiers and specifically points this out. The word says nothing about the food, only gentiles. He wouldn't have called those animals unclean in the first place if He was going to change it, because we know He is the same today, yesterday, and forever. If you argue with that you are arguing with God's Word and no one else. You should take some time with Luke 7. We are to help each other, encourage each other, and prove what we say is Truth. We are not called to point fingers at those who haven't come to full understanding. We are to be "wise as serpents, and gentle as doves" helping point them to Truth, not be clanging symbols on public platforms condemning others to hell. We are suppose to "Feed His Sheep" not be the angry servant beating slaves when The Master comes back. I pray you take some time with these subjects and test them to see if they are Truth. And indeed, I know exactly what the scripture about the plank and the splinter is about. You have proven that point with your words as they are a witness against you. Thanks again for taking the time to answer my questions, but i do not believe you have judged correctly. God Bless and may Yahweh Yeshua Ha'Mashiach continue to work in your life. Blessed be Our Father and Lord and Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Ultimately He will be The One to clear up many of these issues because there are many agent provocateurs out there propagating them very hard. I pray you find the correct answer or can set me straight via His Word... not man's... and not adding or taking away The Truth of The Scripture. Being that I have been studying for 3 years with Yeshua Following, Native Hebrew Speaking, and God Honoring Bible Followers... I believe we have found The Truth of the matter... In Hebrew... and in application. God Bless. Sincerely, Servant of Yeshua 7
