本年最初のブログです。 少々遅くなりましたが、謹んで新春のお慶びを申し上げます。 ２０２２年もシシ七十二候をどうぞ、よろしくお願い申し上げます。 冬季湛水をしている、真冬の田んぼは カッチンコッチンです。 どれほどカチコチかといいますと、 深いところで３０センチほどの水深のあるこの田んぼですが 成人女性のわたくしが、たのしくスケートできてしまうくらいにです。

今年から再開した「いきものとつくる、田んぼ」プロジェクトのお米をようやく食しました。（自分たちでつくったのに食べるのが遅くなってしまいました。笑） ２０２１年の新米は、新たな場所で、完全に農薬を使わず 選別ではじかれてしまった、錦鯉のこどもたちと一緒につくったあきたこまちです。 予想以上に豊作で、１０俵ほどの収穫がありました。ほんとうにありがたいです。

８月に入り、穂が出てきました。 よく見るとカメムシがちらほら・・・。 周りの田んぼに比べて、穂がでるのが少し早かったからか カメムシがたくさんくるかもしれないよ、とアドバイスをいただきましたが 防除などはせず、このまま様子を見ることにしました。 いろいろ調べてみると、カメムシは田んぼの中やまわりに生える「イヌビエ」などのイネ科の雑草を

本格的なニホンミツバチの巣分かれ（分蜂）の時期がはじまり 新しい巣作りの場所をさがしているミツバチたちに入ってもらうため、あちこちに巣箱を設置しています。 巣箱の入り口の方向や日当たり、立地など、いろいろ考えながら ミツバチの気持ちになって試行錯誤するのも楽しいものです。 山や神社に巣箱を置きにいく途中では山菜をよく見かけるので、 ひととおり作業が終わると山菜採りの時間です。
