Like all of King's books, this one is very violent and graphic at times, which can be hard to read, but I find that action is what makes the stories exciting. I agree that it shouldn't matter if characters

I actually didn't like the second book in the series as much as the first or third book. If it's just the second book stopping you from reading the conclusion, I'd say skip it. Yes, you'll have missed
