¡Hola, bienvenidos a mi segundo post y al mismo tiempo del año 2018! Hoy 6 de Enero es un día muy especial para los niños queridos de la casa, especialmente en Venezuela. No sabría decirles cómo sería en otros países de latino américa o en el mundo, pero en este país del trópico es tradición que el 6 de Enero los reyes magos dejen regalos a los niños de la casa, y al mismo tiempo es momento de visitar a las familias y regalar amor para tus seres queridos, algo similar a lo que en países de habla anglosajón esperan a su tierno San Nicolás o Santa Claus les traiga en su saquito rojo los regalos que tanto anhelan los niños.

Aquí acostumbran a dejar sus zapatos en la puerta de sus cuartos para que los reyes magos al llegar les deje el regalo en ese lugar especial. El 5 de Enero en la noche los niños venezolanos van a sus camitas esperando su gran regalo otorgado por los Reyes quienes viajan desde muy lejos para darles su bendición. Desde que he crecido debido a que mis padres no celebran este tipo de tradición, nunca he tenido la oportunidad de conocer a los Reyes Magos como bien se acostumbra aquí en Venezuela, sin embargo desde pequeña en la escuela me enseñaban de los tan anhelados Reyes Melchor, Baltazar y Gaspar quienes les llevaba regalos al mesías, el niño Jesús, llevando consigo oro (presente conferido a los reyes), incienso (empleado en el culto en los altares de Dios) y mirra (un compuesto embalsamador para los muertos). Al parecer según he leído es diferente en otros países, aquí hablan de 3, otros hablan de 2, 6, e incluso 12. Pero no cambia el hecho de que es un día muy especial para darle cariño y felicidad a tus seres queridos. Y yo espero que ustedes también les puedan brindar el cariño y la felicidad a todos sus queridos familiares y amigos todos los días.

Hello! Welcome to my second post and also my second for 2018! Today January 6th is a very special day for the little ones at home, specially in Venezuela. I don't know how is it in other countries from latin america or even from around the world, but it is tradition that the 6th of January the wise men(Reyes Magos in latin america) leave their presents to children at home, and so it is also time for giving love to your beloved ones , it is pretty similar to what in anglo-saxon countries celebrate waiting for Santa Claus with a big red sack to give them their desired presents.

Here, it is custom to leave their shoes at the front of their door so that when the wise men arrive they could leave their dearest presents just right there. At January 5th kids from their home at night go to bed leaving those shoes so that the great wise men visit them to give their blessings. Since I was a child my parents never celebrated this type of traditions, so I never got the chance to meet the great wise men as they always tell, but at school they would always teach us about them Melchor, Baltazar y Gaspar who wore gifts to the great messiah, "el niño Jesús", giving him gold(a gift from the wise men), incense (employed in the worship on the altars of God) and myrrh (an embalming compound for the dead). It seems that it is different in other countries, here they speak about 3, others about 2, 6, inclusive 12. But it doesn't change the fact that it is a very special day to give love to beloved ones. And I wish that all of you could also give your unconditional love to your dear family and friends every day.
