wow, I'm such a newb... 'anything that is not mapped is just a drag and boring' - I just found out that maps are one time item (each map one instance with 6 portals only, and you need map currency once

Classes and Skills are more liquid in this game than in Diablo II. The Ascendancy class is the most important choice, I hope it will give you a fun playing even if your character so random skills that
