Thanks @bitcoinman - the great thing about night sky photography is that you don't need expensive equipment to do it. With a steady tripod and long exposure anyone can do it! I may write up a tutorial

Thanks @breshepard! Norway is known as one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights. Svalbard in particular is a very good location for it, but they can also be seen from Iceland, Alaska

Thanks @photo-trail much appreciated! These were all shot on my Sony A7R II with the Sony / Zeiss 35mm f2.8. We had limited space in our luggage so it was the perfect compact setup for travelling around!
