Totally agree with you. 360 is a lot of fun and it has its perks but with flat video the creator has the full control over framing and composition. I think stereographic video is to become more popular,

Congrats on the new baby ;) I do 90% of my editing in Lightroom, it's fast, powerful and easy to use. Only for retouching I use Photoshop. I really recommend Lightroom, especially for raw files.
