What I love most about the first piece is Pele is so mellow. She is often depicted as fire and here she is simply dreaming, and just letting out some steam. She looks so content. The Nene piece is so colorful

I watched Matt work on this image for some time until it was just right. Today I met with Kraig's brother and sister-in-law and they love the design. Looking forward to being a part of the event next weekend.
