Requesting to dock: just pull up the contacts menu and select the station. It'll allow you to request docking permission once you're within 7.5 clicks of the station. I dunno if there's a faster way to

I'll certainly take a look. I'm terrible when it comes to dedicating time to actually write a game, and tend to code simply when there's an interesting problem that I'd like to figure out and explore.

Yep, vertex shading is being used for the mesh. Since I wanted each triangle to be a flat shaded solid color, vertex shading make it pretty simple, with the option to still overlay a texture if I so choose.
