Un artista super polémico por su apariencia física, lo que hace en el escenario y los diversos escándalos en los que ha estado envuelto durante toda su carrera musical; estas características ha despertado dos tipos de público: los que lo aman y los que ni se atreven a acercarse donde él se para.

I think that with all his trajectory he didn't need that, but we needed that mix! between rock, with a teen movie, linked with other genres, recognized actors and actresses, that song has it all. I know it's a cover version, but Marilyn performing it made us break that barrier we had with her music and her style and allowed us to open ourselves to listen a little more without seeming scared or taken out of hell with all her lyrics.

I remember and still remember that it is one of my few songs in English that I sing at the top of my lungs and although I don't know if I am invoking the devil himself, I enjoy it very much because I love the video and its interpretation. The message can be interpreted in many ways but as I was a teenager at the time, I liked the party: from the moment the car with the shock absorbers appeared I knew it was going to be a mess in every way; then the quiet girl who transforms, the way they take over the music, the dance of the bunnies in a pink room with someone in black, everything was unreal and that gave it very good critical acclaim and the movie was not so bad to say😎.

Si yo sé que es una versión, pero que Marilyn la interpretara, nos hizo romper esa barrera o cerco que teníamos con su música y su estilo y nos permitió abrirnos a escuchar un poco mas sin parecer asustados o sacado del mismo infierno todas sus letras. Recuerdo y todavía mantengo, que es una de mis pocas canciones en inglés que canto a todo pulmón y aunque no sé si estoy invocando al mismísimo demonio, la difruto mucho porque me encanta el video y su interpretación. El mensaje se puede interpretar de muchas maneras pero como éra adolescente en esa época, me gustó la fiesta: desde que aparecia el carro con los amortiguadores se sabía que iba a ser un desorden en todos los sentidos; luego la chica callada que se transoforma, la manera como se apoderan de la música, el baile de las conejitas en un cuarto rosa con alguien de negro, todo fue irreal y eso le dio muy buena aceptación en la crítica y la película no fue tan mala que digamos😎.

De allí estudié un poco más de su carrera y no solo era lo que veíamos en la tv, además el artista es compositor, dueño de la banda, actor, director de cine, productor, es decir, que estaba bien ubicado y cumplía diferentes roles dentro de la escena musical y artistica. Algo que me llamó la atención, fue que estudió en colegios católicos durante su infancia ¿Cómo terminó en un género tan opuesto? miren ni idea, pero me causaba gracia saber que era como una sátira o burla al dogma de la iglesia. Cuando empecé a escuchar sus canciones, me gusto The Beautifull People Y aunque no entendía su concepto, por el video sabía que hablaba del sistema, de lo convencional y que no aceptamos lo diferente por estar amarrado a lo común. En ese tiempo irreverente me identificaba con su canción porque éramos así de incomprendidos y todos teníamos un espacio en el mundo.

Hace poco salió una versión de Sweet Dreams y quedé ¡Wao! nuevamente, a que es un artista que se reinventan, no le da miedo participar de espectáculos no tan oscuros, se adapta a los escenarios y puede imprimir o mantener su sello original sin afectar el resultado ¡ME ENCANTÓ!
