MYKONOS

Probably the most famous Greek island. It has a typically cycladic landscape. It is arid and is surrounded by magnificent beaches. It owes its fame to the beauty of the capital, Chora, its white houses of endearing and narrow passages, as well as its numerous beaches of great quality. It is a very popular island, with a very pointed and crazy nightlife. Here we must make an important clarification: there is a gay-friendly but as much as anywhere else. As this environment there are many more, as many as you can have in the island of Ibiza or Tenerife. The tourist has to take into account that it's a small island and therefore the distances are short. The island of Mykonos, each time more, is elected on a trip to Greece as a unique destination. Also, are becoming more "repeaters" customers of this island. And they say that it is the best Island to engage in human relations: given that their size is small, all the world is around others.

According to Greek mythology, the island was named by the hero Mykonos, son of Apollo; Therefore it is the island of light, as one who took his name had family ties with the luminous Apollo. Mykonos has beaches for all tastes.
